The government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela intends Angola’s support through Endiama, at the organization of its artisanal diamond production and also in the exploration for the discovery of economically viable diamond reserves that can help in the diversification of the economy.
The information was released Wednesday in Luanda by the chairperson of the board of Directors of the National Diamond Company (Endiama EP), Antonio Carlos Sumbula at the end of a meeting with a Venezuelan delegation headed by the Director of the Central Bank of this Latin American country, Jose Salamat Khan.
He noted that the visit of Jose Khan to Angola aimed at thanking the Government, as it helped Venezuela to develop activities to lift the sanctions of the Kimberley Process that weigh on this country (Venezuela).
In his turn, Jose Salamat Khan stressed that his visit to Angola aimed to strengthen cooperation ties between the two countries, especially in the field of mining.
