The Antwerpsche Diamantkring (Rough Diamond Bourse) last week held its second version of Antwerp Rough Diamond Days, and by all accounts sales were vigorous.
Approximately 50 rough diamond exhibitors did business with no less than 370 national and international diamond dealers, while the bourse estimates that a total of 2,500 interested parties visited the Rough Diamond Days over the course of the event.
Organizer and Chairman of the Antwerpsche Diamantkring Freddy Inzlicht said, “Now more than ever, the time has come to stand united, and join forces to promote our industry. We are convinced that, if we put our hearts and minds, our passion to it, we can surely reach our goals, not just here in Antwerp, but far beyond.”
The exhibitors were pleased with the results of the fair, which in addition to the many Belgian diamond dealers also welcomed a large number of foreign delegations from Israel, India, China and the Far East. The Kring also launched its brand new website during the opening of the fair. Mr. Inzlicht said that, “After weeks of hard work, we can now launch our new website, designed to service our members even better.”
